I’m searching for an OneNote-alternative that allows me to write with a pen on the screen and then saves my handwritten notes. For keyboard-written notes I already have enough alternatives (Nextcloud Notes, rwtxt, LibreOffice Writter, plain text files…). Xournal or Xournal++ are nice, but OneNote is superior.
We needed to wait an hour, but this pizza was delicious 👌🍕

I think I’m in some kind of bubble, but most of the people I instant message with use Telegram, because either they are computer science students too or because I convinced (or persuaded) them.
Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, wrote about “why using WhatsApp is dangerous”, citing the attack against Jeff Bezos.
In the 2019 year review, I have already announced that in the future I want to do a monthly review. I want to reflect on what I have experienced and learned in the past month, what has occupied me and also what I am going to do for the next month. Of course I will not be able to write everything on a public blog, but I will try to be as open as possible. This should also help a little bit as a reminder. So I can look back later on what I did every month.
I just want to briefly announce on my blog that I have successfully completed the apprenticeship part of my dual study and can now call myself “Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung” (IT specialist for application development)!
I just updated my blogroll and thought that it might be a great idea to share my workflow to do exactly that. I use Miniflux a lot. Using Miniflux, I read all the blogs and get all the news, get updates from all the YouTubers and even subscribe to some Mastodon accounts (fediverse microblogs). I use multiple categories to sort the feeds. One of those categories is “Blogs” with all the blogs, which I also list on my blogroll.
Stories like this are a great reminder to not install any “freeware malware protection” software and unknowingly opt-in to data collection. If possible switch to Linux, or if you want to stay on Windows, use the integrated Windows Defender.
