Good weather today meant that there was a lot going on in the park. After almost -20°C last week, almost +20°C are expected this weekend.

That was a delicious waffle today on my after-work walk. 🧇

After Medium had already announced last year that custom domains were to return, this is now finally the case. However, a membership is a prerequisite.

A good change in my opinion, even if I will no longer use this feature or Medium as a whole.

However, it is now finally possible for me to separate the domain android.jlelse.eu from AndroidPub. I have set up BunnyCDN to redirect requests to the medium.com domain.

I recently showed an Instant View template for Telegram. I had the hope that Telegram is fast with accepting the submission, but so far nothing has happened. So I have manually implemented something that makes it possible to use Instant View in my Telegram channels (en, de).

I went out again for a longer walk and took a few more photos and even a video. Freezing cold and not very cozy, but I’m in a good mood! ☺️

Today it is snowing a lot and there are also snowdrifts. Temperatures of up to -15° C have been announced for the coming week.

This day today has shown that apparently I’m not completely incompetent at being productive after all.

Now the only question is whether this is due to a sense of achievement, the sight of an end, or the desire not to waste the time when my girlfriend is with me. Maybe it’s just a little bit of everything.

Only 6 weeks left until I have to hand in my bachelor thesis. But I am very optimistic.

I just closed my LinkedIn profile. It just didn’t make sense anymore to have me constantly spammed with annoying emails and messages. I have already signed a contract that will start as soon as I finish my studies. And should I be looking for a new job at some point, there are still plenty of other options besides doing it on this platform. So bye-bye, LinkedIn! 👋

Netlify has problems and suddenly many of the feeds in my Miniflux instance can’t be refreshed anymore and fail with timeout errors. I guess all those people use Netlify. Didn’t Netlify advertise using a multi-cloud solution?
