Just migrated some storage buckets to Hetzner’s S3-compatible Object Storage and also set up OpenCloud. Looks nice so far, much better than what I remember about NextCloud. Let’s see if I will migrate from OneDrive already a few years before my Microsoft 365 subscription expires. Sovereignty, Digital Independence, etc…

Jan-Lukas Else My updated Home Server setup I just have to tell you my current state with my migration to OpenCloud… For a few months now, I have used a second-hand HP T640 Thin Client as my home server for Home Assistant and Uptime Kuma. Hetzner announced a price increase, and I just ordered a new service from them: Storage Share powered by Nextcloud. So instead of switching to OpenCloud, I switched to Nextcloud.
