How many times do you think you’ll change the back-end structure of your blog over 20 years? 😛

I hope 2020 was the last time I replaced the technical foundation for the blog. Now that I’m using my completely own system, there should also be little danger of me being lured somewhere else. Moreover, the whole effort… ☺️

My blog software now allows me to create, edit and publish drafts. Now I don’t need to use Nextcloud Notes for posts I don’t want to publish immediately. 😀

From this whole messenger discussion, I get the impression that it’s harder for some people to install a second messenger than it is to do a tax declaration in Germany.

For the first time in a long time it is snowing and the snow is lying there! 😍☃️

Blogging is sometimes like self-therapy. Sorting and sorting out thoughts in your head and finally you feel better.

Once again I have coded a new small blog feature: statistics 📈 (English blog, German blog). I find it interesting to observe how the number of posts per year has changed over the years. Maybe I’ll add more detailed statistics with posts per month etc. soon.

After reading books about Docker and Kubernetes for most of the day today, I wanted to do a bit of programming after all: My blog now has shortened URLs for posts. https://jlelse.blog/s/1 for example redirects to my last post about my current writing workflow.
