When I was a child I used to read a lot. I was no fast reader but a book usually took me just a few days to finish. Each month I read a few books, I either got for my birthday or borrowed at the local library.
Writing posts, especially when you just write for the sake of publishing a post, can be really painful. You tensely try to come up with an idea, then you start typing but have to think about every second word. Another bad addition to this is, when you aren’t native English speaker, so you use a translation site and copy every translated sentence over to your editor…
When I surf the Internet on my daily journey, I see a billion articles that want to show me how I can optimize my life, how I can become more successful, how I can be one of the top 1%.
At the beginning of December 2017 I wrote that I will buy the Xiaomi Mi A1 when it finally gets the update to Oreo. That’s exactly what I did. I’ve been using it for over 24 hours now, so my first impressions here:
It is not uncommon for me to go to bed earlier in one day. At eight o’ clock in the evening, after I have eaten dinner, I look at my watch and tell myself that I want to go to sleep at 10 o’ clock today, instead of the usual short before or after 12 o’ clock because I feel tired.
One or maybe two years ago, you could have been looking at my life and you probably would have noticed that I spent a lot of my time with social media.
I’ve been in the Android scene a little longer already. Maybe not as long as some others, but Android 4.0 was the first version I used. A lot of time has passed since then. But when I look back in time today, it strikes me that one thing that had found many followers at the time is no longer really important.
It is not uncommon for me to jump back and forth between software. Be it with Linux distributions (Solus is my current favorite), blogging engines (Ghost for most of my sites) or the software I use to run my server.
