As I already mentioned, I’m trying to modularize parts of GoBlog to make the code more organized and to be able to test it better (thanks to the tests, I always notice small bugs that I can then correct).
My strategy to darken the window, as I do at night, so that almost no light and thus no heat come into the room, works ok, but is somehow still not so great. The feeling of time gets completely lost with only artificial light.
In 9 days Microsoft wants to present the “next generation” of Windows, it is assumed to be “Windows 11”.
Recently I’ve been investing more time in refactoring and creating unit and integration tests for GoBlog. After all, I don’t want to just make sure my blog is working properly through trial and error, I want to be able to prove that with automated tests.
There is a new option for mobile offline maps: Organic Maps. This app is based on the source code of maps.me, before the acquisition last year.
I enjoyed a nice weekend with my girlfriend in Kassel. ❤️

At work today I came across an Eclipse feature for cleaning up Java code. It helps you to improve the code, for example to add final to attributes or parameters, or to improve boolean expressions.
