My April ‘26 in Review
April is now over too, so it’s time to look back on the month. This time, I’ll keep it really brief.
At the beginning of the month, we spent a few days at the North Sea over Easter, where we relaxed but also went on a few day trips. It was very relaxing.
After that, everyday life returned. Work, and sometimes going for a bike ride in the evenings after work. On Sundays, our (now expanded) dance class. Occasionally sorting out a few things for the wedding (or booking the honeymoon). And of course, there’s still the housework.
Otherwise, the only major topics for me this month were our new fiber-optic connection and my new laptop.
Connection issues with my mobile network that lasted a week annoyed me so much that I finally decided I’d rather use fiber as my primary connection. But even there, not everything worked right away: During installation, the technician initially pinched a few fibers in the basement and broke them without noticing. After a few more days, though, it was up and running, and it’s been stable ever since.
I got a new laptop and even replaced the screen myself with a better one. But that’s running smoothly now too, and I’m completely satisfied with it.
Other than that, there really wasn’t anything exciting to report this month…
