My February ‘26 in Review
And just like that, another month has flown by, admittedly a short one, but already the second in this “new” year. Time to take a quick look back.
This was the first month where, according to Freeletics, I was active every single day. Every day, I did at least a few mobility and stretching exercises, and two or three times a week, I tackled a more intense workout. By now, I’ve actually built something resembling a routine. I hope it sticks, especially now that I’m back to cycling. But I think the stretching should help prevent any muscle soreness before it even starts.
As for our wedding plans, we finally sent out the official invitations this month. Guests can visit a custom-built website to find extra info, RSVP, or later upload and browse photos. We’ve also got a caterer in the pipeline. And today, our basic dance course wraps up, but we’ve already signed up for the advanced class.
Work’s still keeping me busy, but I’m enjoying it. Right now, I’m evaluating CI/CD platforms to see which one fits our project best. Not only inspired by that, but I’ve also switched a few services in my personal setup. After a short transition phase with OpenCloud, I replaced OneDrive with Nextcloud, Gitea with Forgejo, deSEC with Bunny DNS, OpenAI and OpenRouter with Cortecs, Let’s Encrypt with Actalis, and finally, I migrated this blog’s domain to janlukas.blog.
If the weather stays this stable, though, I’ll be spending less time in front of screens in the coming weeks. Instead, I’m hoping to spend more time outdoors, whether on my bike or just walking around, soaking up some vitamin D. ☀️ Oh, and if you think you might spot me out there, look closely: my appearance changed a bit in February. My hair’s moved from my head to my chin. If I ever get around to it, I should update the photo on my About Me page.
