My May ‘25 in Review
May is already over. This time, it was quite an eventful month.
However, I don’t have much to report because I already wrote a detailed post about our vacation. 😄 In short: Scotland is beautiful, we saw a lot, we hiked a lot, and this time we came back healthy. It was really worth it!
Other than that, it was my birthday at the beginning of the month (and the homeowners’ association meeting was on the same day, but sometimes you can’t avoid things like that). Anyway, 26 doesn’t feel any different from 25, except that all the special discounts for young people are slowly coming to an end. At least rental cars and some insurance policies are a little cheaper.
And then I also went on bike rides. That’s always a good way to balance out everyday life, to burn off some energy, especially when I don’t get much exercise the rest of the week. For next month, I should probably make a resolution to start Freeletics again …
Why am I writing this monthly review so late? We’ve been doing a lot of research over the last few days. Specifically, research on cars. After selling the car that my grandmother provided me with in 2021, we will shortly need one again because my fiancée will soon have to commute daily for her teaching internship, which is not reasonable by bus or bicycle. And the market for small cars has become limited. We finally have a plan, but we will see; perhaps I can report more in four weeks.
