The second-to-last month of the year is now over too, so it is time to take the monthly look back.

The month was quite varied. For instance, I went cycling a few times. With new equipment, I stayed warm while doing so. So I could exercise outside in the fresh air for a few more days. Even if they are not big tours and I don’t perform outstanding achievements, it still gives me such a good feeling and new strength again and again through the endorphins. This was possible, among other things, because I had to use up some remaining overtime hours in my meanwhile old job. So I could start the rides before it got dark.

As for the job: This month was my last in the automotive industry. Today my new job started in an entirely different industry, but still in the position of software developer. I am already really excited to see how it will be; the first day was definitely super already. Actually, I approached the change quite calmly, but my former colleagues unexpectedly said many congratulations and nice things to me on the last day. I apparently left a positive impression.

But we are also making progress with the planning for our wedding next year. A few service providers are already booked, but some are still missing. Quite a lot to organize for one day. But it is supposed to be the most beautiful one in life. ☺️

The last half of the week I had vacation and used the time to visit my mother and sister in southern Germany. A miracle, but this time I was punctual to the minute by train on both the outward and return journeys.

So I was not bored. Let’s see what December brings and what I can report about my first month in the new job then.

Until then!
