My October ‘25 in Review
After September, now October is gone too, one more month, and not so long anymore until the next year. Even if it is already the third day in November, I still quickly want to fulfill my chronist duty.
At the start of the month, my fiancée had birthday and we were, as a gift for her grandmother, for a long weekend with her and my fiancée’s cousins high up in the north near Flensburg. Quite rainy and a long drive, but at least we could shortly stop by the place where we put a love lock during our 2021 holiday.
A few days later, I bought myself a tablet, a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. And I must say, so far I like it very much. Be it for watching videos, reading newspapers, or just surfing a bit on the internet. More handy than the laptop and yet more comfortable than doing everything on the smartphone. Since I have the device, I also read much more in ePaper-PDFs and even made an extra account at another city library to be able to read even more newspapers and magazines.
Also on holiday, we were one and a half weeks in the Rhön, the device was quite practical, so I didn’t have to take a laptop with me. But of course I didn’t only play on it there, we were also hiking a lot, enjoyed the nature, or visited some museums. It was very autumnal, beautiful, and filled my batteries again.
Besides that, where the days are getting shorter now, I also did a bit of programming. Be it on the blogging software, the website for our wedding, a few automations, or a small new tool that I use for the archiving of the mentioned ePapers. Of course, also with a bit of AI pair programming. 😄
But to not neglect the sport, after I mainly cycled in summer, I started again with Freeletics more regularly and ordered cycling clothes appropriate for the season to maybe extend the season for a while longer still.
Let’s see what happens in November…
