I migrated to Nextcloud, not OpenCloud

Published on in ✍️ Posts

Just last week I wrote that I am ready to switch from OneDrive to OpenCloud. But things have changed a bit since then. Hetzner announced a price increase, and I just ordered a new service from them: Storage Share powered by Nextcloud. So instead of switching to OpenCloud, I switched to Nextcloud.

Self-hosting my emails again: A few weeks in

Published on in ✍️ Posts

A few weeks ago, I moved back to self-hosting my mail server after using Purelymail for three years. There is ChatGPT, which sometimes feels like an all-knowing human, DeepL uses artificial intelligence not only for its translator, but also for its new tool that improves written text, or Bunny.net provides an API to generate images “on the edge”.
