And just like that, another month has flown by, admittedly a short one, but already the second in this “new” year. Time to take a quick look back.
Now February is also over – another eventful month. While world politics had some lows with the German federal election and events in the USA, there were at least some highs in my private life.
I’ve tried a few shaving methods since I started growing a beard in puberty. I started with a Gillette Mach 3, various no-name shavers because the cartridges are cheaper, and two electric shavers.
February has come to an end. It’s time to take a brief look back.
And again a month is over, March comes to an end, April begins. A short review.
Now March is also over, the first lockdown turns two, my bachelor’s degree one. Time to look back a bit on the past weeks.
JavaScript is a controversial topic, especially in privacy and open source circles. That’s because JavaScript is often used to execute code on website visitors’ devices that does things that aren’t so cool. For example, tracking users across the entire Internet. That’s why the use of ad blockers is actually indispensable nowadays, and some go so far as to block JavaScript altogether.
Last year, when suddenly it was said that home office is the new normal, I started to update or improve my home tech equipment. In January, I shared a picture of my home office.

March 2020 was the strangest month I have experienced in my almost 21 years. While in February I only noticed Corona slightly, today Corona determines the everyday life of most people worldwide. Corona is suddenly there as a danger that one could not even have dreamed of. Suddenly public life is completely at a standstill, only shops for essential goods are open, millions of people do home office and it is (in Germany) forbidden to meet more than one person in public.
When was the last time you watched a 90 minute movie without drifting off with the thoughts, pulling out the smartphone or doing something else in between than watching the movie? I often cannot even manage to watch a 30 minute video without being distracted.
