The gym is already at home
My new piece of fitness equipment is finally here. In all its glory, standing there to remind me every day to get a workout in. Now I don’t even have to go to the gym, because the gym is already at home.

My first Freeletics week is complete. And I got a badge for the first “perfect week”. I hope this gamification (levels and badges for perfect weeks, perfect week streaks, training session milestones etc.) will make me pull through. My girl friend also joined me and started using Freeletics. 🤓
When I used to run back in the days, I used Runtastic to record my runs. When I tried running again last year, my app of choice was Strava. For recording hikes, I mostly use Komoot. But today for recording a bike ride, I tried FitoTrack.
Yes, this is the first post for a long time about running. I became quite about this topic, but now I try to slowly get back into this activity. In 2017 I was a running freak. I ran every day for a whole month and also preached about running a lot. Everybody should try it and do morning runs, was my mantra back then. The YouTubers I watched and podcasters I listened, as well as writers whose stories I read (all about motivation, self improvement, success etc.), had a huge impact on me.
I’m currently in my 9th week of my Runtastic Results training plan. It’s actually more than 9 weeks since I started, but that’s because my schedule was too busy sometimes and so some weeks took longer than planed. But believe it or not, it’s finally becoming fun.
