Moving to another city

As I’ve probably written many times before (have I?), I’m currently moving with my girlfriend to her university town. I will keep my old apartment as a second home. But it’s still my first move to another city and I’m just realizing it.

Today we made 30 thousand steps. 💪
After all those steps today, tomorrow is time for some chilling on the beach. ⛱️
We arrived here completely without flying. 🛤️ But I’ll write more about that, when I’m home again…

With my non-electric bike I did today a 30 km tour through an area where I have not cycled often. I rode mainly along two canals. Fortunately, there was plenty of sun shade, even though I was prepared and well creamed with suntan lotion.

My apartment is a really good starting point for a small evening ride with my pedelec on the bike path, which was originally once a railroad line. In the evening, very few people are on the way, so it’s a free ride. The 45 nm strong rear-wheel motor helps me to drive without effort on average about 25 km/h and also to overcome slopes easily. Even light drizzle has not bothered me today. 🚴♂️
