⚠️ This entry is already over one year old. It may no longer be up to date. Opinions may have changed.

As my girlfriend finally finished her last exams last week, and now we have time for enjoyable activities again, we used yesterday to do another hike in the surrounding area.

With the tram and local train, we went to the starting point (Zierenberg) and then hiked for about 11 kilometers around a small mountain (Dörnberg). One of the paths we followed was named “Alpine path”. The hike was already some preparation for our short vacation at the end of this week, where we will go to the real Alps and maybe hike on the tallest mountain in Germany.

It was quite foggy when we started, but when we finished, the fog was lifted. The weather was really nice on this small trip, as it wasn’t raining and the temperature was pleasant.

Unfortunately, on the train there, a water bottle emptied itself into the backpack and probably took my expensive Anker powerbank to death. It’s not turning on anymore, but I put it in rice and will see in the following days if it can be revived.
