One year with my tablet
One year since I bought myself an Android tablet: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. It was definitely worth it.
I use it a lot. Mostly watching videos and reading the newspaper (which a little n8n workflow downloads every day from the library), but also the occasional web surfing and research session or writing blog posts. For many of those use cases, a bigger screen (compared to the phone) is simply better and more pleasant. But it’s still handier than a laptop on the sofa, the kitchen table or on the train.
As I don’t do any gaming or compute-intensive tasks, also the hardware is powerful enough. Apparently it’s the same processor as in my phone (the Galaxy A54). And the tablet gets regular updates as well, mostly once a month at the same time as my main phone and my bike phone, the Galaxy XCover 7, for almost six more years.
