Since puberty and since I’ve had hair growing on my face, I’ve been shaving. A few years ago, I delved deeper into the topic of wet shaving and have since accumulated quite a bit of equipment. Here’s an overview:

Safety Razors

Mühle R89

This was my first safety razor. In traditional style, chrome-plated metal. It was a good razor for the start and is a solid choice. With it, I learned how to use safety razors.

Rockwell T2

This is a more advanced safety razor, which is now my primary choice. It’s adjustable, and it has a butterfly mechanism. Easy to adjust the aggressiveness to different use cases, easy to change the blade with wet fingers in the bathroom. I also have the white chrome variant.

Shavent Compact 2.0

This is the newest addition to my collection. It’s like a cartridge razor, but with standard blades. It takes up to three blades and has a pivoting head, so it’s easier to use on the back of my head. With it, I don’t have to think so much about using it at the right angle.

Electric shavers

Braun MGK5445

All-in-one trimmer set. Used everywhere, I don’t need a close shave. Like trimming my beard. Or, before I was bald, used to get a haircut.
