I stumbled upon this GitHub repository and I think it’s pretty funny. Of course, once you get to know all of Go’s features, you’ll want to try them out. But with enough experience you end up with simple code again.
I didn’t expect to see snow again this spring.

Sorry for so many Signal related posts, but I wanted to provide an update regarding my last post. Signal’s server code got updated.
On the subject of Signal, they seem to have changed their mission regarding open source. The server code hasn’t been updated for almost a year and they don’t respond to requests regarding this. See this issue on GitHub.
There’s a new Facebook leak. And this time there’s an interesting news.
Even though it is often said that the Internet does not forget, it does forget some things. When people shut down their websites, delete sites or even sell their domains.
At work we are still using Java 8 for a project, but an upgrade will be needed in the future. To see what has changed, there is a list created by Dávid Csákvári that lists all the new features of the language and JVM that happened between Java 8 and Java 16. And that are indeed quite a lot.
Now March is over as well, so it’s time to take a look at what was going on in March for me.
I probably shouldn’t be posting articles at 11:30 at night. Somehow it happens to me too often that I make a mistake while publishing, like missing the title, posting in the wrong category on my blog or something similar. Go to sleep and don’t blog so late, Jan-Lukas!
As I write these lines, I listen to music on Spotify. To a playlist named “Lowkey Tech” with “chill techno and chill house” music. Recently I have been enjoying this music a lot. Electronic music, but relaxed and mostly without vocals.
