My fluctuating interests

It seems like my interests fluctuate a lot. I have a topic that interests me, do a lot of research, learn many new things, get excited. And then suddenly another topic pops up, which at the same time reduces my interest in the previous topics.

It’s worth buying Logitech devices. Even though they are not exactly cheap, they are of high quality and in case of a warranty claim, you can get a new device as a replacement without any complications. At least that’s my experience (with my MX Master 3). 😌

Simply cache form fields in localStorage

Have you ever started typing something into a web form and then you accidentally closed the browser and lost everything you typed there? Because of that I usually use an external text editor for long posts and later copy the text into my blog editor.

Obese websites and planet-sized metronomes

Kevin Galligan wrote a metronome with HTML, CSS and JS, which has a total size of less than 1 KB. Because the existing ones were as large as 11 MB without more functionality. In the accompanying blog post he rants about the modern web (with data-based proofs) and explains how he achieved to make the metronome app as small as 1 KB.
