The good thing about having a tablet now and spending time with it instead of my laptop the last few days is that I finally brought down my reading list in Miniflux a lot. I also answered emails and checked a few other tasks off my (mental) to-do list.

I don’t know why, but somehow I am less distracted with this device compared with my laptop. Maybe it’s also just because it’s new?

Anyway, today the keyboard book cover (and a tempered glass screen protector) arrived, and the tablet now feels a bit like the Surface Go I had for studying. Especially in DeX mode.

bitwarden_rs: Lightweight self-hosted password manager

I just did updates on my home cloud, and among those updates was a new version of bitwarden_rs. Bitwarden is a quite popular open source password management solution. I use it for quite some time already. Until some months ago, I used the hosted version, for which I even paid a few bucks to get premium features and support the developer behind the project.

I’m into Kotlin, because it’s a new (quite new) programming language, that solves all the Java problems, especially on Android. You can simply use Lambda expressions and much more on any API version.
