The second-to-last month of the year is now over too, so it is time to take the monthly look back.
Happy first Advent everyone! November is now over and the last month of 2024 has begun. So it’s time to take another brief look back at the past month.
Danny van Kooten did an interesting experiment and checked the top 10 thousand websites whether they are compressing their HTML. About 8% of them do not apply any kind of compression, resulting in many terabytes of unnecessary transmitted data, not helping to save energy.
November is now over and it’s December and the Christmas season begins. But first a short review of November…
This project has been around for a couple of years, but this time I’m taking part in the Advent of Code for the first time. Every day there is a small programming puzzle (with two parts). I found today’s task pretty easy to implement, let’s see how it will be the next days.
Here, a somewhat delayed review of the past month of November. This month was actually rather less exciting.
